Labels and Rolls
There are 2 types of labels, Direct Thermal Labels and Thermal Transfer Labels. Direct Thermal Labels do not require any ink, ribbons or cartridges. They are slightly more expensive to buy, less messy, easier to use and cheaper in the long run as you do not need a ribbon. Thermal Transfer labels on the other hand require a ribbon. The main difference between the two is that Thermal Transfer Labels can be exposed to UV (Direct Sunlight) where-as Direct Thermal Labels will fade out when exposed to direct sunlight for prolonged periods. Other factors to see when purchasing labels is the adhesive (Permanent or Removable, the latter being more expensive) and materials (Vinyl and polypropylene durable labels can withstand oils, water etc...).

800300-250EM - ZC Series Colour - YMCKO Ribbon, 200 Images
The Zebra 800300-250EM YMCKO ribbon produces up to 200 high-quality prints per roll. Its vibrant color dye ensures photo-like images, while the black resin creates sharp text and barcodes. Please note, this is the replacement for Zebra 800300-350 YMCKO ribbon.
DYMO 91202 Black on Yellow Plastic Letratag Tape - 12mm X 4m
The original Dymo S0721620 tape delivers plastic yellow labels ideal for indoor use. Labels created with the genuine Dymo S0721620 tape are tear resistant and wipe clean, so spills are not a problem. The tape of the Dymo 91202 label also has a split back so it's easy to peel. On top of these, the colourful Dymo 91202 LetraTag label tape is tear-resistant. You can use the Dymo S0721620 black on yellow 12mm x 4m tape for home or office applications.

6mm DYMO RHINO 18051 Black on White Heat Shrink Tubing
HEAT SHRINK TUBING is specifically designed for wire and cable marking. Once the tubing is printed simply slip it over the end of the (unterminated) cable and use a heat tool to shrink the tubing over the cable. May not be suitable for use on terminated cables (ie. if there is a connector on the end), and the tubing may not be large enough to fit over the connector. In that case consider self-laminating tape, or Vinyl / Nylon.
