SUPPLIER FAMILIES
Although this module is not often used, you can choose to divide your suppliers
in different families. An example can be if you would like to seperate local
suppliers from foreign suppliers. Another option could be to seperate suppliers
according to different categories of stock which you purchase. You could also
seperate suppliers which sell you a service (Expenses) from those where you
purchase stock (Purchase Orders).
The advantage with Supplier Families is that if you need, you can extract data
the way you need it. For example, you might want to know how much purchases you
had from foreign suppliers, but not from local suppliers.
You do not have to decide now whether you want to divide your suppliers
in families. Just attach all your suppliers to the default family. Then, if you
choose to divide suppliers in various families later on, you may.
