CATEGORY GROUPS


Categories can be further sub-divided into Category Groups.

An example of using category groups in a clothes shops could be dividing Women's Clothes, Men's Clothes and Children's Clothes at the very top. Then under women's clothes you have several categories such as dresses, skirts, jeans etc....

You do not need to decide straight away whether to use category groups or not. If you feel you are still undecided and you only what to divide your stock in categories, leave it for now. You can always sub-divide your categories into groups later on when you are more experienced with using iLabPOS. If you do not want to use category groups, leave at least 1 category group which will be the parent to all catgories.
