SETTING UP A TEST TRAINING VERSION


You can setup a seperate POS for training purposes. Having a training version is a good idea if you want to issue a test Invoice, or if you want to experiment around in the POS.

Setting up the training version is pretty simple:

1. Create a folder in your C: Drive called ilabpostest. (C:\ilabpostest)
2. Then make a copy of all files and folders from C:\ilabpos (or where iLabPOS was installed) to C:\ilabpostest.
3. Create a shortcut on the desktop for c:\ilabpostest\pos.exe
4. Rename the shortcut to iLabPOS Training Version.

To make sure that the training version does not conflict with the live version, try creating an article in the test version. Then try looking for this article in the live version. It should not be there.


Alternatively you can install the POS on another computer and train on that!
